This notice explains how Meamo Co., Ltd. (“Meamo”, “we”) handles personal data in connection with wholesale correspondence sent from meamowholesale.com. It covers business contact data only. Data collected through meamoshop.com is governed by the privacy policy published on that site.
Who is responsible

What data we hold
- Business name, country and website
- A business email address, and where published, a contact name and job role
- Publicly listed treatments or product categories offered by the business
- A record of correspondence with us, including replies and opt-out requests
We do not collect special category data, and we do not use tracking pixels, open tracking or advertising cookies on this domain or in our outreach email.
Where it comes from
Publicly available business sources: company websites, public business directories and business listing services. We do not purchase consumer data and we do not scrape social networks.
Why we process it, and on what basis
We contact businesses that are likely to have a professional interest in the products we supply, in order to introduce our wholesale range. For recipients in the EEA and the UK the legal basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR — our interest in reaching relevant trade buyers, balanced against the limited impact of a small number of business-to-business messages that can be stopped at any time.
Where local law requires prior consent for electronic marketing to a given recipient, we rely on that consent instead and process only after it is given.
Who we share it with
Our email delivery and sequencing provider, our email hosting provider, and Meamo's internal sales team. Where a reply progresses to an account application, the details are passed to the Meamo sales manager handling that market. We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party marketing.
Data may be transferred to the Republic of Korea, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection.
How long we keep it
Contact records for businesses that do not respond are deleted within 24 months of the last message. Opt-out requests are kept indefinitely on a suppression list, for the sole purpose of ensuring we do not contact you again. Records relating to an opened trading account are retained under the retention terms of that account.
Wholesale application form
When you submit the wholesale application form on this site, the details you enter (name, business email, phone number, business name, country, order volume, product interests and any notes) are sent to Meamo Co., Ltd. and stored in its customer relationship management system, so that Meamo's wholesale team can review your application and contact you about it. A backup copy is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and a notification containing your details is sent to the Meamo wholesale team through Telegram. We also record which link brought you to this page and the country your request came from. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this data for as long as needed to handle your application and any business relationship that follows. To access, correct or delete your data, email thomas@meamowholesale.com.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or receive a copy of it. To object to further contact, reply to any message with “unsubscribe” or email thomas@meamowholesale.com. Opt-out requests are actioned the same business day and require no explanation. Other requests are answered within 30 days.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
Any change to this notice will be published on this page with a revised date above.
